Impact of Forest Fire and Overall Forest Management in Himalayan States

A national seminar focusing on forest fire prevention, environmental sustainability, ecological conservation, and long-term forest management strategies in Himalayan states.
Organised a successful Seminar on the topic of “ Impact of Forest Fire and overall Forest Management in Himalayan States”on 1/3/2025 at CIMS Campus Kuanwala Dehradun.

The Environmental Awareness Seminar organized by Amar Sandesh Newspaper on 14 June 2025 at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, focused on promoting environmental awareness, climate responsibility, and sustainable living practices. The event brought together environmentalists, educators, social activists, and members of civil society to discuss key environmental challenges such as climate change, pollution control, and conservation. The seminar encouraged public participation and collective efforts toward building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

Save the Himalayas – Climate Change Impact on Livelihood and Their Sustainable Solution
19 May 2025 – HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal
An insightful seminar discussing climate change impacts on livelihoods, sustainable development practices, and community-based environmental resilience in Himalayan regions.
The seminar commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswathi Vandana in the presence of chief guests and dignitaries. The inaugural session included welcome addresses, keynote speeches by Shri Manmohan Singh Rauthan, VC HNBGU, Shri Subhash Negi, DIG SSB, and other distinguished guests, followed by the Himalayan Gaurav Samman award ceremony. Two panel discussions focused on climate impacts, community wisdom, sustainable planning, and public participation for a resilient future. The event witnessed active participation from academicians, environmentalists, community leaders, research scholars, and students from HNB Garhwal University and border districts of Uttarakhand.
